In the city of Bareilly, a love-struck boy fills a barfi box with chocolates as a romantic gesture for his beloved. The story is narrated by the boy's grandmother to a group of children on All Fool's Day. After reading about the sweet gesture, their teacher asks them to consider how everyone deserves someone who loves them and cares for them unconditionally. After hearing this moral tale, the teacher decides to show her pupils what unconditional love means by anonymously delivering 'Bareilly ki Barfi' boxes filled with chocolates and other sweets. After receiving this gift, she receives a compliment from one of her students, who praises her for being the best teacher ever. As the lesson ends, she is seen walking up to another classroom to deliver another 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' box. The story is similar to the tale of Jeevika's sweetheart in "Sarfarosh", which was later inspired by the life of Sunil Dutt's wife Sarika Dutt after whom Sarika Tamhane was named.
