This is a good drama with nice actors and actresses. The story of the film revolves around a very rich young, beautiful woman who wants to give something back to humanity but at first she doesn’t know how. The story then reveals that she is a genius doctor who uses her intelligence and hands-on learning skills to help those in need through her NGO. The film analyzes the social issues of today's world by showing the portrayal of these problems from different angles, from those who face them directly as well as those who enact them from behind-the-scenes. The film also explores the issue of social inequality and it's aftermath. Through this theme, the film presents a world where everyone can have a fair chance to succeed in life - to have a place at the table provided by society. The movie also focuses on two or three important questions that are still raised by many people nowadays - for example, what is it that makes someone able to stand at the table whereas another one might not be able to join it? Is it truly merit or is there something else involved? And finally, how do people handle their personal lives with different perspectives of taking charge over them? These are some of the themes that are highlighted in "Hawawizaada. " The film is a story about love, betrayal, jealousy and how it all comes together as the story progresses. The movie offers a unique look at different characters and their lives – from a young girl who struggles to find her way in a world where she has no employability skills to a man who is forced to take over his family business because of certain circumstances even though it means that he has no desire to lead this family but is forced to do so by heritage laws. It covers the life of an ex-billionaire's son who gives up everything for his son's sake because he wants his child to have everything he never had. It also follows the life of a man who is abandoned by his family and must work extra hard to provide for them. It told from the perspective of people who are always on the periphery – a struggling salesman, a hotel waiter and a laborer who dreams of being someone important. As the story progresses, each character's lives meet one another creating various layers in this story that have different meanings through which people can reflect on their own lives. They learn about what happens when every day they fight their own battles as well as those of others as they try to find harmony in their lives. In the process they learn many things about themselves as well as those around them. In the end, the movie tries to impress upon people that although there are no easy answers – through their experiences – they can find a way to become a part of something bigger – to contribute towards a better world. After the success of his debut film "Shanghai", which won him a National Award for Special Mention for Best Feature Film along with many others, director Dibakar Banerjee decided to make his second film on the subject of education.
